The LokPilot Nano Standard is the smallest digital decoder from ESU. Thanks to the use of subminiature components and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, we can now build an ESU decoder on a base area of ​​only 8.0mm x 7.0mm. With its thickness of only 2.4 mm (one point 2.8 mm), it is flat enough to accommodate even very small locomotives of nominal size N or TT. Despite its tinyness, the quality and robustness were not spared.

The LokPilot Nano Standard is offered with all common interfaces: In addition to the well-known 6-pin NEM651 connectors (with and without cable harness), there is also a variant with 8-pin NEM652 connector.

Modes

The LokPilot Nano Standard is a first-class DCC decoder. 14-128 speed steps are as self-evident as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders are automatically activated at a suitable digital center (for example, ECoS). It handles all DCC programming modes and can not only be driven with all DCC-compatible digital centers, but can also be programmed: thanks to RailCom®, the CV values ​​can also be read out on the main level by means of suitable control panels.

Programming with the ESU-Lok programmer is particularly convenient at your PCB screen.

The LokPilot Nano Standard decoder can also be used on analog DC traces.

The use of your locomotives in "non-digital" clubs is therefore nothing to prevent.

Motor control

They expect from an ESU decoder rightly an excellent engine control. Even our little one is no exception. The power amplifier of the LokPilot Nano Standard decoder delivers up to 500mA of continuous current and is clear with all common DC and bell crank motors; no matter whether it is from ROCO®, Fleischmann®, Tillig®, Piko®, Brawa®, Bemo®, Faulhaber® or Maxon®.

The load regulation with a 20 kHz PWM frequency ensures a quiet motor run and allows your locomotives to creep slowly on the system. The load regulation can be optimally adapted to the motor you are using by means of three CVs. Thanks to mass simulation, your locomotive will not jerky even with 14 speed steps.

Features

The LokPilot Nano Standard decoder has four function outputs, which can actually deliver a continuous current of 100mA - provided that the total current load including the motor output of 1A is not exceeded. All important lighting functions (for example, flashing light, marslight, speed cameras) are available and can be set separately as well as the brightness of each output. The built-in shunting gear helps you in the sensitive driving in the station area as well as the possibility of the starting and stopping
Brake deceleration can be switched off at the push of a button.

Thanks to a simplified "Function Mapping", which is based on the NMRA standard, the function outputs can be easily assigned to function keys (F0 to F20).

RailComPlus®

With RailComPlus®, the decoder now registers automatically at matching central units and receives a new address if necessary. Forget the tedious typing and programming!

Protection

Of course, the motor output is protected against overload. We would like you to enjoy your decoder as long as possible!

Future

The LokPilot NanoStandard is updateable and can be updated with the help of the ESU LokProgrammer. This means that your decoder is always up to date with the latest technology!
