More info

The LokPilot standard is available in three versions: In addition to a version with an 8-pin NEM interface and a version with a 21MTC interface, the decoder is also available as a very compact version with PluX12. Therefore, the LokPilot standard is recommended for locomotives of gauge TT or N.
The LokPilot standard is equipped with the most modern technology currently available on the world market. Based on a 32-bit CPU, the LokPilot standard convinces with its newly developed, excellent load regulation with high clock frequency and good slow-down characteristics, reasonable equipment and an outstanding price-performance ratio.

Modes

The LokPilot standard is a first-class DCC decoder. 14-128 speed steps are as self-evident as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders are automatically activated at a suitable digital center (for example, ECoS). It handles all DCC programming modes and can not only be driven with all DCC-compatible digital centers, but can also be programmed: thanks to RailCom®, the CV values can also be read out on the main level by means of suitable control panels. Programming with the ESU LokProgrammer is particularly convenient on your PC screen.

Motor control

The output of the LokPilot standard decoder delivers up to 0.9A continuous current and is clear with all common DC and bell anchor motors; no matter whether it is from ROCO®, Fleischmann®, Tillig®, Piko®, Brawa®, Bemo® or Faulhaber® and Maxon®. The load regulation with a 20 kHz PWM frequency ensures a quiet motor run and allows your locomotives to creep slowly on the system. The load regulation can be optimally adapted to the motor you are using by means of three CVs. Thanks to mass simulation, your locomotive will not jerky even with 14 speed steps.

Analog functions

The LokPilot standard can easily be used on analogue DC systems. The use of your locomotives in "non-digital" clubs is therefore nothing to prevent.

Features

The LokPilot standard decoder has four function outputs. There are also two unreinforced outputs (at 21MTC) which, in conjunction with matching adapter boards (e.g., ESU 51968), can also be used to control lighting and special functions. All important lighting functions (for example, flashing light, marslight, speed cameras) are available and can be set separately as well as the brightness of each output. The built-in marshalling gear helps you in the sensitive driving in the station area as well as the possibility to switch off the starting and braking delay on the push button.
Thanks to a simplified "Function Mapping", which is based on the NMRA standard, the function outputs can be easily assigned to function keys (F0 to F20).

Protection

Of course, all function outputs as well as the motor output are protected against overload. We would like you to enjoy your decoder as long as possible!

Future

The LokPilot standard is updateable and can be upgraded with the help of the ESU LokProgrammer. This means that your decoder is always up to date with the latest technology!
